Garland created this unique pearl choker for the Queen, purportedly during a visit from Her Majesty the Queen in 1970, using pearls that were purchased from Japan. Its clasp is supposed to be seen, adding to its exquisite and classic style.

The necklace, which features four tasteful rows of pearls and a distinctive diamond-shaped clasp, has been worn by the Queen on a few occasions. The Queen most famously lent it to Princess Diana during a Hampton Court Palace luncheon in 1982.
