TV dinners gained popularity in the 1960s, and Swanson was the first to introduce this easy dinner in a box. Swanson served turkey dinners with all the fixings, spaghetti and meatballs, and fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

These meals were appealing since they were simple to prepare and convenient. Families may quickly prepare a full supper by just placing it in the oven. In under five minutes, they could get from the box to the table if they didn’t mind their supper being a touch soggy from the microwave. They arrived on their own trays as well, which simplified cleanup.
