“Amtrac” should not be confused with the train system; this amphibious assault vehicle is unrelated to it. The official designation for this vehicle is AAVP-7A1, but the Marines call it Amtrac. This fully tracked vehicle is capable of both land and water mobility.

With an operational range of 300 miles on land and 20MB in water, it is utilized by Sea Operators. It can endure in Sea State 5 as well. United Defense is the manufacturer. The AAVP-7A1 was equipped by United Defense with an M2HB.50 caliber machine gun.
