It’s not necessary to have an expensive camera to get an amazing shot. The Dark Room spent only $15 on a TX400 Rebel Xs, which was used to take this photo. To get this unsettling image, the photographers used the Rebel in conjunction with a Canon 40mm f/2.8 or 50mm f/1.8 lens.

The woman in the black-and-white shot is a surfer; she may be heading to the beach or has just returned from there. She is watching the seashore, her form highlighted against the gentle waves. The image evokes thoughts of a vacation while still containing a hint of spookiness.
