You might want to turn away if you’re afraid of insects since this picture might make you feel sorry for a fly. We are shown a close-up of nature at its most primitive in Imam Primahardy’s photo. With an insect in its mouth, a sand wasp is presumably heading off to devour it later. In order to hunt, sand wasps sting their prey, paralyze it, and then drag it down to their burrow.

I tried not to get too close to scare the wasp (or get stung by it) when taking this picture. Excellent for macro photography, the Sony Alpha a9 is a camera that may have been employed.
