5.When You’re Big but Shy

This is really what life objectives are about. Truth be honest, that dog doesn’t exactly appear like a dog; we’re not sure if we mean it as in “it’s a life goal to have a cute dog like this to cuddle with” or as in “these two kind of look like a cute couple as long as you disregard the fact that one of them is a dog.” Something else seems like it.
Anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable in their own body can connect to the delightful paradox created by the contrast of size and disposition. This enormous organism, presumably weighing as much as a small adult human, is striving to make itself as small and quiet as feasible. Though clearly the most obvious object in the room, it’s like seeing a gentle giant trying to go invisible.
Maybe a bear here? Indeed, it is correct. This dog is bear rather than a dog! That is the only plausible reason for his somewhat unusual weight. Winnie the Pooh here isn’t any Clifford the Dog! The analogy to a bear goes beyond mere size to include the ideal mix of strong presence and soft soul that distinguishes certain big breeds. It reminds us that sometimes the most famous people hide in the most subdued packaging and that a creature that could easily be frightening choosing instead to be kind and bashful is rather charming.
