The two side stones, which are somewhat less than a carat each, belonged to Princess Diana, the late mother of Prince Harry. indicating that she will accompany them on their voyage at all times. Harry later reset and rebuilt the ring, which now has a slim gold band encrusted with tiny diamonds.
