The Sorento is one of its best-sellers, and, reportedly, this car costs around $533 for repairs and maintenance. This annual cost is pretty reasonable. Those who own a newer 2022 Sorento have reported the most common problem being with the windshield randomly cracking, which costs $200 to $400 to fix.

This mid-size sedan was known as the Chrysler 200, and it had a six-year production run. According to HotCars, its most common problem was also its most expensive one to fix. It had an engine design flaw that could cause stalling and stuttering.

The 2.4-liter TigerShark inline-4 was the big problem-causer, with automobiles stalling and dying while people were driving (yikes!). The annual repair cost for this Chrysler averaged $549, with repairs for the TigerShark costing $3,200, if you had to replace the engine.

Over the years, Kia has built up its reputation to an automotive brand that, when you do have to repair it, doesn’t cost a lot. According to Repair Pal, repairing a Kia Optima, one of the brand’s most popular models, costs around $471 on average.

That’s below the average cost of $652. During its first ten years, CarEdge estimates that your Optima will cost around $5,934 for repairs and maintenance, with a 17.53% chance your Optima will require a serious repair during that time.

It is still made in other countries, though it is firmly an “old” model now, as it hasn’t been produced in America for twelve years.
