Location: Not within the Milky Way
There is another intriguing phenomenon about the placement of stars, in contrast to those that are known to be in a galaxy’s vicinity and tied to it. Note that some stars have been dubbed “rogue stars” since they don’t seem to be connected to any one galaxy.

These stars were originally discovered in 1997 and were observed using the Hubble telescope. Though it is still mostly unknown how these stars ended up outside of any galaxy, there is a good chance that they were born within of a certain galaxy.
