Crawling Back

Mark was taken aback by the speed at which the cobra was advancing toward him. Instinctively, he began to crawl backward, trying to create distance between himself and the snake. The last thing he wanted was to put himself in harm’s way, especially with such a potentially dangerous creature so close. His heart raced as he focused on retreating safely, hoping to avoid any confrontation.

Despite his fear, Mark felt a nagging sense of confusion about what the cobra truly wanted. He couldn’t shake the impression that the snake might be in distress or seeking help. However, overwhelmed by the situation, he decided it was best to first remove himself from the immediate danger before considering any further actions. As he continued to back away, he contemplated the possibility that this encounter was more than just a threat; perhaps it was a call for compassion that he would need to address once he felt secure.
