This is the logical development of A Christmas Story’s leg lamp. This is a horrible DIY ornament effort, similar to many holiday-themed Pinterest boards. Balls in pantyhose and hanging them was an innovative concept that was already highly unlikely to succeed, but when a copycat tried it, the results were considerably worse.

Pantyhose can hold an orb and hang outside with little to no harm, yet it’s astonishing how they will rupture at the first sign of a nail within one foot of them. Investing in inexpensive outdoor lighting is a better option because it will ultimately be less expensive than purchasing both bright orbs and pantyhose.
