It’s not necessary to be one of the Royal Family’s most well-known members to have an impressive jewelry collection. The Cartier Indian Tiara is an incredibly large headdress composed of sapphires, diamonds, and pearls.

The diadem may belong to Brigitte, Duchess of Gloucester, although its history dates back to the early twentieth century. Cartier initially created it for Princess Marie Louise, the granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Sometime between 1906 and 1921, after her marriage was dissolved, she made the purchase.
