Up until the very last, the Queen Mother was always a devotee of a stunning brooch. This enormous floral emerald number was one of her collection’s more visible pieces. It’s debatable where the brooch came from.

Some claim that Mrs. Greville gave Leslie Field, the author, the brooch with the square-cut emerald in 1942, but others dispute this. We do know, however, that it’s probably quite valuable. Although Queen Elizabeth II still owns the brooch, Camilla has been sighted wearing it recently.
