With two hotel towers housing over seventeen hundred rooms, a casino, and thirteen restaurants, the Wynn Palace Resort is located in Macau. The $4 billion resort and casino were not completed by the planned opening date of more than two years due to construction delays.

The construction was beset by numerous mishaps and delays, which caused the completion date to be later than anticipated. After all, such large-scale undertakings nearly never succeed without encountering difficulties along the way.
Leighton Holdings (now Cimic Group) lost $38 million as a result of the resort’s three-month launch delay since they were unable to get their deadline-based bonus. Leighton Holdings might have lost out on its bonus, but a lot of other people did not, as Wynn Resorts’ stock rose to a 52-week high after the Macau Wynn Palace opened.
