Since drones have become more widely available, even amateur photographers may now purchase one. For aspiring photographers, this was excellent news, but it also made it harder to make your shots stand out. What made your camera shot from the top so special, if anyone could acquire one?

Paolo Pettignani, a photographer, was inspired by this to create a new project he called “Infraland.” Using a variety of infrared filters to convert his standard Mavic 2 Pro to full spectrum, he produced images that challenged conventional reality by showcasing the union of science and imagination. These kinds of images, which are common in his collection, show familiar landscapes from an angle we may not have considered. Even though the Mavic 2 Pro may no longer be manufactured, anyone with a little bit of expertise may use this helpful little technique on any drone camera.
