A Real-Life Cartoon Cat
First of all, it’s difficult to determine if this is a picture of a cat whose face is smooshed up against the glass or if this cat received the worst haircut in cat history. That an understatement; the groomer got him nasty. They shouldn’t have left the face that way even if the cat underwent surgery or something requiring shaving its whole body.
The cat resembles some sort of cartoon character really faithfully. One finds it difficult to accept that this is a genuine animal. Its face seems so odd and nearly as though it has nothing to do with the cat’s body.

Have you ever had a haircut that really helped you to define yourself? Something about it was so traumatising that you could literally feel your core altered. This dog certainly has as well. Just look at her in the first picture—calm, pleasant, and sophisticated. Just a few hours later, then, see the panic on her face. In that time frame, what did she observe?
Maybe as a symbol of how she felt like a totally different dog by the end of her day at the salon, they also changed the colour of her bow from pink to blue.
