To be fair to retailer CiChic, this dress does not appear to be very different from what actually arrived. While the pattern is different and the dress is somewhat shorter, it is still not proper for prom.

Regardless, the customer felt extremely short-changed by what arrived. She aimed for a sheer look, but underestimated the extent of it. One thing is for certain: it’s a complete disaster from beginning to end. No one wants to look back at photographs like that in 20 years.
