It should go without saying that several nations experienced great turmoil during World War II. In addition to invading nations, the Nazis also stole valuables from both cities and villages. They allegedly even threw over $5.6 billion worth of stolen gold into Lake Toplitz in the Alps in the 1940s with the intention of coming back for it later.

However, as everyone knows, they were defeated in the conflict, and the wealth is said to still be there. Needless to say, innumerable divers have searched for the gold, but nothing has turned up due to the waters’ 300-foot depth and layers of logs. Still.
