Everyone was frightened when it was released in 2017. The movie was well-received by audiences and brought in $697.5 million, making it one of the highest-grossing horror films ever. Naturally, a lot of Halloween costumes from that year were inspired by Pennywise, the clown from it. The hard way is taught: one It fan should test the outfit on in person.

They received an It costume that bore no resemblance to Pennywise. Though the costume ended up being more humorous than scary, Warner Bros. executives have not yet commented on the mishap (or perhaps sent the child a new one in time for Halloween 2019).
