As if an artist had meticulously sprinkled white paint throughout the cat’s fur, what started as a solid black coat has grown into a magnificent black and white canvas. These white spots first started to show gradually, which resulted in a veterinarian visit when vitiligo was diagnosed. This degenerative disorder causes the cat to keep developing more white spots over time until, in its senior years, it will have a totally white coat.
