Burger King tried to lighten things up a bit for the scariest holiday of the year with the Halloween Whopper. The Halloween Whopper was introduced by Burger King and quickly sold out, accompanied by a black bun. But the $4.99 burger did not go down well. After discovering that the food coloring had given the Whopper a terrible taste, diners quickly became alarmed; one said, “72 hours…and still [in] my system.”

In 2019, Burger King also made the decision to embrace the Halloween season by introducing the “Ghost Whopper,” which was essentially the reverse of the Halloween Whopper due to its ghostly white bread. We are eager to see what scares this organization will provide for Halloween in 2021.
