91. Halloween Whopper

Ordered From: Burger King
Average Order Price: $4.99*
The Halloween Whopper was Burger King’s attempt to have a little fun on the year’s scariest holiday. The Halloween Whopper came with a black bun, and, when Burger King released it, it sold out. The $4.99 burger wasn’t a hit, however. Diners soon realized the food dye added a bad taste to the Whopper, with one customer saying, “72 hours…and still [in] my system.”

Burger King also decided to get into the spirit of Halloween in 2019 by selling what it called a “Ghost Whopper,” which was the opposite of the Halloween Whopper because it had a ghostly-white bun. We can’t wait to see what frights that Halloween 2021 brings from this company.

92. Scrambled Eggs and Cheese

Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $2-$4*
When you think of scrambled eggs and cheese, you probably (correctly) assume that you’d mix the two together. After all, eggs don’t taste great without cheese—they’re rather boring. One fast-food diner ordered that classic breakfast combination and got and unpleasant surprise when he asked them to “ADD cheese.”

The restaurant instead separated the two, placing very pre-made eggs on side and a measly slice of cheese on the other. Though the receipt seems pretty clear, it appears that the restaurant was in quite a hurry. We suppose that the diner had to skip breakfast that morning.

93. Undercooked Chicken

Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $1-$3*
We wish we knew what fast food place this was from so we could avoid it in the future. Raw chicken is nothing to play with, and one customer, unfortunately, found out that the delicious, chicken tenders (which looked deceptively crispy on the outside) he ordered were raw on the inside when he took a bite.

Hopefully, he spit out the bite the second he saw the damage. Raw chicken can cause all sorts of problems, either from Campylobacter or—eek!—salmonella. Symptoms usually occur within a day, and the food poisoning from those illnesses is like the stomach flu on steroids.

94. Turkey Wrap

Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $5-$7*
A Redditor thought he was making a health-conscious choice when he ordered a turkey wrap with sprouts. However, what he got went a little overboard. The turkey wrap in question had no bun, only turkey as the “bread” and a huge chunk of sprouts in the middle. The healthy option was a little too healthy.

The turkey wrap made the rounds on lists of food orders gone wrong, and, though it wasn’t as bad as anything half-eaten or undercooked, the wrap looked pretty inedible. Sprouts are good in small quantities—which this was definitely not, unfortunately for the customer.

95. A Little of Everything

Ordered From: Starbucks
Average Order Price: $15-$20*
Another crazy Starbucks order makes the list. Coming from a customer named Hannah, it appeared that Hannah couldn’t decide what she wanted from the coffee chain, so she decided to order a little bit of everything. Literally. The poor Starbucks worker who had to make the order snapped a photo of the ridiculousness for social media.

A Little of Everything @buzzfeed / Pinterest
The order (placed at 9:43PM, oddly) started out as a Trenta Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, but it became something so much more, thanks to additions of everything from heavy cream to ten additional sugars. The drink’s price was only rivaled by its sugar content.

96. Donut, Frosting On The Side

Ordered From: Tim Hortons
Average Order Price: $0.99*
One of the worst things in the world is when you order a donut and the frosting (the best part, arguably) slides off and gets stuck in the bag or box. Sadly, one Tim Horton’s customer found that out the hard way when his chocolate-frosted donut slid pretty much all of its frosting off and into the bag.

Since it’s doubtful that the customer ordered “frosting on the side,” hopefully he was able to fix it. Tim Hortons donuts are a classic, and sugar-loving taste-testers from Thrillist, Spoon University, and Insider have all dedicated articles to ranking the best donuts from the coffee-and-donut chain.

97. Meat, Cheese, and Pickles Only Please

Ordered From: A burger joint
Average Order Price: $15-$20*
The person who captured and posted had an unfortunate day that started with a simple craving. All they wanted to eat was a plain burger with cheese, roasted meat, and some pickles on top. So they went ahead and ordered the same at a burger joint. But things went downhill when they opened the box and came face to face with exactly what they ordered: pickles, cheese, and meat.

So where was the burger? And the burger buns? Nowhere to be seen, simply because they did not mention that they wanted those particular condiments ON the burger, not separately. You cannot blame the one who made the order, right?

98. Extra Taco Bell Ingredient

Ordered From: Taco Bell
Average Order Price: $10-$15*
Taco Bell often sends out funny orders, may it be too many pickles or ranch enough to take a deep dive in. But this customer had the shock of their life when they ordered a special taco, sat down to eat in peace, and noticed that their taco had a lot more cardboard than a normal one should have.

Meat, Cheese, and Pickles Only Please @aInventions/Pinterest
We can only wonder what would be going through the mind of the Taco Bell worker who made a special taco and then thought it a perfect idea to place it within another taco shell with the external cover intact.

99. Oink Oink

Ordered From: Taco Bell
Average Order Price: $40-$55*
Crispy pig face is a popular dish amongst several pork lovers, no matter how sinister it may sound. You get over the weirdness of the name once you try the dish because it is not the dish of your nightmares where you get an actual pig’s face deep-fried in boiling oil on your plate!

Oink Oink @aInventions/Pinterest
But this person’s worst nightmare came to life when he ordered a crispy pig face but received an actual grown pig’s face covered in crispy coating. What would you have done in such a situation? Barf right on the plate, or push yourself to take a taste?

100. Cheesy Fries but With a Twist

Ordered From: N/A
Average Order Price: $8-$10*
There is no better snack in the world than golden-brown crispy fries, other than cheesy golden-brown crispy fries. All fries lovers in the world would agree on their supremacy, whether they call it fries, chips, or crisps.

Cheesy Fries but With a Twist @aInventions/Pinterest
At least the person who took this photograph agrees, which is why they decided to order a plate of crunchy fries with extra cheese. But little did they know they would quite literally get a plate of crunchy fries with extra cheese, just not on the top. Moral of the story: make sure you use the right prepositions and let your waiter know that you want the cheese “on top” of the fries.

101. Thailand’s Special Ice Cream Sandwich

Ordered From: Thailand
Average Order Price: $5-$8*
You are bound to experience cultural shocks when visiting other countries. Whether it be the food, traditions, or how people dress, everything cannot be the same as your home country. But this person faced a strange cultural shock.

Thailand’s Special Ice Cream Sandwich @boredpanda/Pinterest
They decided to go for an ice cream sandwich to beat the heat and got what they ordered: ice cream lodged between two slices of bread, that too with an adorable little spoon! Apparently, this is not an order gone wrong but rather what Thai people eat in the name of an ice cream sandwich. We are not sure how it must taste, but there’s nothing wrong with trying out a food combination as long as it includes ice cream!

102. Fruity Pebbles in a Stream of Water

Ordered From: Home
Average Order Price: Free
Ordering one thing and getting something ridiculously different is not something that happens in stores and fast food shops only. Imagine asking your mother or siblings for a bowl of cereal as a midnight snack, and they bring you some fruity pebbles.

Fruity Pebbles in a Stream of Water @Google/Pinterest
But it is only after you look into the glass that you realize that they took the cereal in literal terms and doused it with water. There you have it. Fruity pebbles where they should be: in water. You can blame it on sleeplessness or the late-night hours, but it is still an order gone wrong.

103. Watching the Carbs

Ordered From: N/A
Average Order Price: $10-$20*
Going for a carb-free diet is certainly a healthy choice. Nothing comes from loading up on carbs day and night! But eating a healthy diet isn’t very easy, because what should you eat to be able to keep your health in check?

Watching the Carbs @imgur/Pinterest
Such a dilemma also seems to have plagued this worker, who, not knowing what to do to make a healthy meal, decided to amalgamate cucumbers with bacon. Bacon rolled into cucumbers empty from the inside, the perfect combination of protein and fiber, right? We feel bad for the person who spent hours bringing such an idea to life and, even worse, for those who had to eat it.

104. The Gory Teddy

Ordered From: N/A
Average Order Price: $40-$60*
Creativity is as important in the culinary world as everywhere else in the world. A good meal requires cooks to turn their creative wheels and get innovative with their dishes! But this cook decided to take one step – in fact, a couple hundred steps – into the gory side of creativity.

The Gory Teddy @imgur/Pinterest
Since everybody leaves cute little teddy bears, they would love eating them too, right? It is probably the person who made this monstrosity thought the same. So they decided to make a teddy bear out of meat strips, building something that looks like a teddy skinned alive. Imagine coming face to face with this horror!

105. Something Other Than Berries

Ordered From: A grocery store
Average Order Price: $10-$20*
Red raspberry and strawberry preserves are the perfect way to start your day. Whether you lather them on your bread and bagel slices or munch on them as a snack with crackers, they have no haters. But what if you order a jar of red raspberry spread from your local grocery store’s home delivery service and get something extra along with what you wanted?

Something Other Than Berries @imgur/Pinterest
A similar thing happened to the person who took this unfortunate picture. Nothing seems to be the matter when you first look at the picture: it is only after you take a closer look that you realize that red raspberry preserves do not look like that. Maggots do.
