En Qatar se planeó un hotel semisumergible llamado Amphibious 1000. Aunque actualmente es sólo un concepto, si el hotel se construye, podría terminar siendo el más opulento del mundo. En la torre central de Amphibious 1000 se ubicará un restaurante que ofrecerá comidas únicas y vistas panorámicas del mundo submarino.
