A portion of the Moses Bridge is underwater. The Bridge’s architect, RO&AD Architecten, completed its construction in 2010. The moat is split in two by it. Many demonstrators opposed the clearing of Fort de Roovere, arguing that insufficient architectural research had been done on the numerous conflicts fought in the region.
