3. The Hypocritical Sliding Door Company

This sliding door firm looks to have some questions to address. If a corporation and its products are not even used personally, then who trusts them? By any measures, it is somewhat alarming. Perhaps The Sliding Door Company should have thought about keeping their company name off the exterior of the door, even if for whatever reason they were compelled into the contradicting door position. They seem to be begging for it nearly. The irony is obvious; a sliding door firm should ideally highlight their own creations in use. Their name written on a non-sliding door unintentionally invites doubt from possible consumers. The original designers and management who decided to name the business on non-sliding doors most likely simply missed the irony of the location. This state of affairs calls not just on their credibility but also begs issues regarding their dedication to quality and creativity. Customers are more likely to trust a brand that shows confidence in its products; so, this error could cause damaged reputation and lost sales. Such mistakes can have major effects in a competitive industry, where dependability and trust are of first importance.

4. Experience of a Lifetime

This is not the initial statement this analytics company had in mind for its poster, with practically 100% certainty. This most likely won’t have the desired impact unless they were using a bold marketing strategy of startling their potential clients. No one will never forget this ANALystics client experience, although most likely it is not for the purpose they first intended. The sad focus on the word “ANAL” results in an unintentional and funny double entendre that lessens the professionalism the business most certainly wanted to project. Had only they not selected that particular line to emphasise the EXPERIENCE? While all the other rows would have sent a totally harmless message, the horrible decision to focus on resulted in a far different experience from what they offer. This scenario reminds us of the need of deliberate word choice and design in marketing tools. One misstep can transform a serious message into a source of entertainment, therefore alienating the same audience the business aims to attract. In the realm of marketing, where first impressions count, it is imperative to make sure every component supports the intended image and message of the brand.
