This image, “Summer Trim,” was taken by user @jcourtial. It won first prize in the “Nature” category of the 4th Annual Drone Photography Contest. “Summer Trim,” a photograph from Provence, France, shows a farmer mowing a row of lavender fields. Lavender fields are one of the most well-known natural features of Provence.

Located to the north of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, these fields bloom in July, August, and June. The fields welcome thousands of visitors each year, and “Summer Trim” is a unique aerial photograph featuring only one person on the property. This list shows that the DJI Mavic Air 2, a popular drone among outdoor photographers, may have been the drone in question.
