Toyota declared two years ago that it would also participate in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s new “Hypercar Class,” which has its own set of regulations and requirements for sports prototype race vehicles. A road car is also supposed to be released, though specifics are currently unknown.

The current Toyota TS050 LMP1 vehicle, restyled with a new body, is the updated idea. It has a 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 986 horsepower overall with the help of many electric motors. The automotive community is quite excited about this, and we can’t wait for it to arrive.
