The beautiful photography project that Amanda Jones has been working on for the past 20 years demonstrates the transitory nature of our beloved dogs’ lives. Everyone has had the strange sensation that a vivacious puppy seems to transform into a fully grown, sage old dog over night. Certain of them hardly change at all, while others start to exhibit certain aging symptoms. Of course, dogs age more quickly than humans do, which may explain why the following pictures are both incredibly cute and a little sad at the same time. However, we can always find solace in the fact that, no matter how old they get, the happiness we have from our friendship with our best friend never wanes.
