Given that humans are thought to have descended from apes in prehistoric times, it makes some sense that apes and monkeys would share some characteristics with humans. Thus, it ended up in the 2023 Comedy Wildlife collection when Matti Rauvala took this wonderfully timed photo of a Sulawesi macaque while walking the plains of Sulawesi Island in Indonesia.
