A Street Cat With A Unique Pattern

Someone posted this photo of a street cat they found under the title “This lurker with interesting fur patterns.” This guy definitely looks like a lurker in this photo. He also looks like one of those cats you wouldn’t want to approach without some caution. However, a keen-eyed commenter noted that this guy is actually just a really unique breed of cat that you don’t really see all that often.

This cat is most likely a Transylvanian breed of cat with what’s called a karpati pattern. So, he’s not really scary at all. He’s just a little misunderstood, is all. However, that does make us wonder what this guy is doing out on the street.

A Paw With A Smaller Paw

We’re kind of torn on this one. Before seeing this photo, we thought the pets with paw prints on their noses were the most boopable on this list, but now we’re reevaluating that statement. This is either a dog or a cat with a tiny, adorable paw print on its paw. It’s most likely a dog, as we don’t see any claws out and ready to swing at its owner.

As you might expect, there were plenty of funny comments from people after this photo was posted online, but our favorite was from someone who posted “paw-ception.” It still makes us laugh.

A Very Unique Pattern On This Good Boy’s Chest

Sometimes, spotting patterns on pets is a lot like spotting patterns in clouds: it takes a little imagination. This pet owner must have a lot of imagination because we probably would’ve looked at the pattern on this dog’s chest and then thought nothing of it. Now, we can’t unsee a cat sneezing. The white area looks just like a cat if they were captured mid-sneeze, and it’s pretty adorable, especially on a big dog like this one.

That’s on top of this dog already being super adorable in this photo. He looks like he’s just sitting there patiently awaiting a command or his owner’s attention for something.

A Puppy With A Bat Pattern On Its Head

This one is another that might have taken a little imagination on our part. However, it seems really obvious now. This little puppy has a black patch of fur on its head that resembles a bat. Is it Batman’s sidekick? We wouldn’t be surprised as we always pictured him as a dog lover. Whoever’s dog it is, we’re sure they have their hands full with this tiny masked pup.

Some people also likened this pattern to the Rorschach test after the photo was posted, and we could totally see that, too. Either way, it’s a pretty adorable dog.

A Cat With Pants

Most of the patterns on this list are either random or involve patterns that are more vertical. This pattern is completely different. It’s along the back portion of this cat’s body and makes it look as though it’s wearing pants, albeit pants that are pulled down a bit. Still, it’s pretty funny and we probably wouldn’t be able to control our laughter if we saw this feline rolling around on the floor.

One commenter said that they hoped the pet owner named the cat Pants and honestly, it’s truly a crime if they didn’t. That was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity.

A Cat With A Boy Holding A Heart

This is an amazing pattern. There are plenty of pets on this list with hearts somewhere on their body, but none with a pattern quite like this one. This feline has what looks like a boy holding a giant heart. You can even make out the boy’s hair. It’s one of the most unique patterns we’ve ever seen and it kind of reminds us of the logo with the boy on the moon.

That said, we sure hope this kitten is doing okay, considering it looks either really mad or scared in this photo. It may have also just been heading to a trip to the vet or something though.

A Squirrel With Three Different Colors

This is unlike any other photo on this list. This is a picture someone took of a squirrel in their backyard. Obviously, they saw this squirrel and thought something looked off about it. Turned out this squirrel has three different colors of fur: black, brown, and blonde. We’ve never seen a squirrel with a pattern like this or with any kind of pattern at all, so it’s pretty cool.

A Classy Cat With A Mustache

There’s one other cat on this list with a mustache for all of you cat lovers, but this might just be our favorite. For whatever reason, this cat just looks like a perfect gentleman. It might be this cat’s fluffy coat of hair or its grey coloration, but whatever the reason, the mustache just fits this cat perfectly. We could picture this cat sitting down in a fancy restaurant to enjoy an expensive glass of wine.

Most commenters expressed similar sentiments after this photo was posted, but there was someone who said it looked more like a milk mustache and we could totally see that too.

A Chicken With A Lot Of Hearts

This hen is unlike any we’ve ever seen. Some types of chickens have spots on their bodies, but we’ve seen one with spots that look like a lot of hearts. It’s pretty unique, even if this hen doesn’t look like she’s feeling any kind of love in this particular photo. One person commented that there had been an owl in the hen house after this photo was posted online.

They were referencing the spot-bellied owl that’s native to India and actually featured on this list, and we have to say that we are starting to have our suspicions.

A Cat With A ‘Meow’

This is defintely one that took a little imagination on the pet owner’s part. You’d truly have to be a cat lover in order to spot this. They noticed that their cat had an odd-looking pattern and after staring at it for what we imagine was a good while, they made out the word “meow.” It’s much easier to see after having looked at the photo with the markup.

However, it probably would’ve taken us a while if we were just working with a photo with no markups. That said, you can definitely tell there’s something peculiar going on in this cat’s pattern.
