When it comes to photos, context is definitely important. It’s why most of the photos you see, whether on social media or TV, contain captions. You usually need a little information about what was happening when the photo was taken. If you don’t get any context, then you might be left with more questions than answers. Your brain needs some background information because it has a tendency to run wild if not given any – but sometimes, that can be fun. So, if you’re ready for a good laugh, take a look at the photos on this list.

She’s the Squirrel Whisperer

This is, without a doubt, one of the best photos on this list. The next time you’re feeling down and a bit pessimistic about the world, just remember that there’s a lady out there who uses a marionette doll to interact with squirrels at the park. We just wish we knew where this takes place and the woman’s reasoning for this. Even without the squirrel, a photo of an old woman practicing with a marionette in the park would still be pretty awesome.

Add in a squirrel being fed from the doll’s hand, and you’ve got something pretty special. The other lady taking a photo in the background is pretty cool, too.

Nothing to See Here…

You don’t have to be the world’s greatest detective to figure out what happened here. It looks like someone left their pastries sitting on the counter and came back to find a couple of tiny paw prints in them. We’re also not saying that the cat did it, but it does look a little suspicious in this photo. Luckily, it looks like the cat only walked on two of the pastries.

At least, as far as we can tell from the photo, There’s probably no telling what else it did to the pastries while it was left alone in the room.

The Scariest Thief We’ve Ever Laid Eyes on

Here’s another photo that could benefit from a little context. Why in the world is this cat hoarding the coins in this photo? Are those even real coins, or are they fake coins you might find at an arcade or something? And why is the cat hairless? But we guess the real question is, what would you do in this situation, go for the coins or turn around and walk away?

After walking in and seeing this, we’d probably just turn around and walk away. That cat can have those things. It obviously needs them more than we probably would.

Um, You Forgot Something

We actually feel really bad for the woman in this news report. She took a risk and agreed to go on camera for an interview, albeit with her face blurred. She obviously trusted this reporter to guard her identity, but as you can see in the second photo, that’s not what happened. You can see her face, which isn’t blurred in the background while the reporter is busy interviewing someone else.

She also doesn’t look too happy in the second photo. Either the reporter or whoever was responsible for blurring faces back at the station really messed this one up.

This Deer Has Seen Some Stuff

It’s not every day you see a deer being interviewed on T.V. We can only guess as to why the reporter wanted to ask it some questions, and most of those guesses have to do with hunters and shots being fired. Jokes aside, we were actually really curious as to what in the world is going on in this photo, so we did some digging and found an answer.

It turns out that this is from a story in Canada about a deer that wandered into a farmer’s yard alone and made friends with the local guard dog.

Live, Love, Rave

This is a pretty creepy photo, and we couldn’t really find much about it online. However, from what we can gather, it looks like a camera trap captured an image of two deer fighting over some corn in the woods. We’re not really sure what’s going on with the cats and all of the ghostly eyes in the background. Either that or all of these animals are throwing some kind of ritual/dance party.

Honestly, it’d be really cool if the second theory turned out to be the right one, but we suspect it isn’t. Hearing random dance music while out walking in the woods at night would be a lot less creepy than hearing anything else.

At Least They Tried to Make It Look Legit

This might just be the most unique way to fix a broken tail light that we’ve ever seen. And we’ve seen people cover their tail lights in red duct tape before. However, we do have to question if this would actually work. Obviously, it fills in for the red tail light cover, but it wouldn’t really light up or anything when someone pressed on the brakes. In fact, it’d probably distract the driver behind them.

That said, at least they made an effort and actually tried to fix their broken tail light, which is a lot more than what some people out on the road do.

Imagine the Disappointment When All This Is Over

This honestly looks like it could be a scene out of a comedy show or something. We couldn’t imagine someone sitting down to have their portrait drawn and the artist completely ignoring them to draw some random guy in the background with their finger up their nose. Then again, maybe the artist just thought he’d never get a similar chance again and decided to go for it. Who knows?

We will say that while the drawing is pretty comical, it doesn’t really resemble the same guy in the background. Also, does he just hold that same pose the entire time?

When the Late Queen Was on the Run

We’re no experts when it comes to U.K. currency, so we aren’t really sure what the image on the 50-pence is supposed to be. However, whatever it is, it lines up perfectly with the image of the late Queen Elizabeth. So, you have to wonder if this was intentional because, really, what are the odds? It’d probably have to be something pretty slim. Either way, it makes for a hilarious photo.

For whatever reason, this also really reminds us of a stop-motion film. Maybe because we could really see this being made into something like a short or an animation.

There Are Some Things You Just Can’t Unsee

Just be warned that you can’t unsee this photo. Someone figured out that Vladamir Putin actually looked a lot like the woman in the Mona Lisa and made this little comparison. We have to say, we think they were on to something because the resemblance is actually really uncanny. They both have the same eyes, same mouth, and same nose. The foreheads are also pretty similar to one another.

Who knows, maybe the two have a common relative or something from way back in the day. Honestly, it wouldn’t really be the weirdest thing that we’ve ever heard.
