9. Nervous Jose


Jose first showed great bravery in embracing the makeover, but as the procedure started his anxiety started to show. His worry was quite reasonable; this was about facing the unknown and maybe changing the path of his life, not only about appearance. His professed dread was layered: fear of failure, change, and maybe even success. Salvia became a source of comfort and encouragement, therefore transcending her function as a hairdresser.
