Remarkable To Remember
While there are other signs found in airports all around the world, this one is extremely uncommon. This sign, which is located at the Caribbean’s Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten, is real in its caution to visitors not to approach the runway because it is too close to the parking lot. This poses a serious risk to public safety and damages the Caribbean region’s image for secure airport operations.

Many airports are vulnerable to wild animals crossing the runway, which could result in a serious safety hazard. This is something you may not have given much thought to. Many airports have solved this problem by setting up traps to scare the animals away from the danger all around them, but Cherry Capital Airport in Michigan chose an alternative approach. In order to keep all travelers and airlines safe, they made the decision to hire Piper, a Border Collie, to run the perimeter of the airport and chase away any animals.

Whether you are frightened of flying or not, looking at this photo will give anyone a panic attack. This is a serious violation of aviation safety regulations, and a catastrophic accident is almost a given. Fortunately, photographer Mike Kelley only altered this photo. The artwork, which he called “Wake Turbulence,” shows every plane leaving Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It was created by doctoring together 400 separate photos.
