The Triumfator-M is another name for the S-500 Prometey, which is Russian for Prometheus, the Titan god of fire. A 77P6 10×10 truck is equipped with an anti-ballistic/surface-to-air missile system called the S-500. It is meant to replace the A-135 system that is currently in service by the Russian military. The S-400 will be enhanced by this system.

2009 saw the Prometey’s introduction while it was still in the design phase. Delivery was originally scheduled for 2014, however that was rescheduled for 2021.With the exception of the US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, the Pravda Report states that the Prometey is “unrivaled” by any other system of its sort (space-defense weapons) worldwide.
