Unexpectedly, Someone’s Cat Began to Turn Grey
This pattern is really awesome. This picture of the cat, appropriately named Scrappy, was shared by a pet owner who claimed that once the cat became seven years old, it began to become gray in places. The owner speculated that vitiligo might have been the cause, although several commenters expressed skepticism. They suggested that a graying gene was more likely to be to blame. In either case, it looks awesome.
It raises the question of whether Scrappy will someday become gray. From the look of the picture, he was about halfway there. Still, we find this pattern appealing because it brings back memories of a snowy day.
A Cat With Two Faces
Another unusual cat with what appears to be the chimera mutation is this one. Venus the cat has fur on its face that is two different hues. Moreover, its eyes are multicolored and have a really fascinating appearance. Its face has two halves, one orange and the other black. Its body is primarily orange, but there are black spots all around, and we’re not positive if that’s a result of the mutation.
That would make sense, though. The blue eye of this cat is likewise incredibly lovely and vivid. Another cat on this list has a pattern that seems to be the opposite of this one.
