Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers had already spent enough time in the public eye for all the wrong reasons by the beginning of the 2010 season. Big Ben was already dealing with accusations of sexual assault, and now he had a new complainant.


On CNN and , Big Ben was reported to have misbehaved.
Even though Roethlisberger was not charged, the NFL still believed that the quarterback should be disciplined. After “violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy,” the quarterback for the Steelers was suspended for six games; however, the ban was eventually reduced to just four. By missing four games, the future Hall of Famer’s pay was lost, totaling around $1.9 million.
