The client got a ton of additional sauce, just as they had requested. Even still, there appears to be a shocking amount of plastic garbage. Not to mention that the branch’s owners are definitely discouraged from serving this much excess sauce for both financial and waste-related reasons.

Taco Bell switched to paper bags in 2015 from plastic ones, but takeout wrappers aren’t recyclable right now. It is really positive that Taco Bell has stated that they will make all of their packaging recyclable by 2025. It is hoped that they are not alone in their pursuit of a more sustainable future.
