61. Side of Onions
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $3*
While in this list we have seen many blunders and confusions, how critical can we be when restaurants are overly generous? While this is not everyone’s idea of a good time, onion ring fans out there would be utterly delighted to receive this generous portion of caramelized onions.

Side of Onions @boredpanda / Pinterest
Perhaps the only concern would be waste, since not everyone would be happy to eat a large portion of onions like this one – though they make good leftovers too, just saying! In Persian cooking, onions are as valued as garlic is to Italians. It is understood that onions make everything taste better. Who can disagree?
62. Extra Tomato
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $2*
Someone was a little heavy with the knife. While generosity is celebrated most of the time, there is certainly such a thing as too much. And here we see a perfect example. The issue here is quite obviously the ratio – who would want their tomato to be three times as thick as the burger?

Extra Tomato @ebaumsworld / Pinterest
If you search ‘how to slice a tomato’ on google, there are a plethora of articles describing the delicate art of the perfect slice. Ideally it should be a quarter to a half inch thick. In order to achieve this you will need a very sharp knife and a gentle hand. Tomato, tomaaaato, tomoreto – in this case less is more.
63. Side Of Cheese for Nachos
Ordered From: Taco Bell
Average Order Price: $2*
Ahh Taco Bell. Originated in 1962, this fast food chain serves over 2 billion customers a year in over 7000 restaurants which can be found across the globe. Famous for their Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Hard Tacos and Beefy Melt Burritos, these guys are no stranger to a side order of cheese.

Side Of Cheese for Nachos @imgur / Pinterest
Or are they?? Perhaps a clear distinction should be made between a side order of cheese and a side order of cheese sauce. One might want to sprinkle cheese on their tacos, but for nachos, it should be assumed that the customer would like to scoop out some melted cheese sauce.
64. Side of Avocado
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $2*
So this one is a little less obvious. Depending on where you are eating, this may be perfectly acceptable as a side order of avocado. If it were a healthy cafe or a sandwich bar then this would be wonderful as an extra item for a sammie or toast.

Side of Avocado @boredpanda / Pinterest
However, it seems the customer was hoping for a side of guacamole. Of course if you were at a fast food place eating nachos and this arrived on the table it would be correct to be confused. But words and names are important and there is a clear distinction between avocado and guacamole.
65. Pizza with Extra Mushrooms
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $8*
Holy mushroom pizza! You can barely see the cheese through that mushroom. While generosity is generally very kind and welcomed, this is another example of how too much can be simply that, too much.

Pizza with Extra Mushrooms @cheryl_tessier / Pinterest
While mushrooms are on some of the most popular pizzas in Italy, this is simply not balanced. A better version would be the Quattro Stagioni, which has ham, mushrooms, artichokes and black olives. Or another favorite is the Pizza Funghi e Salsiccia which is a mushroom and sausage pizza.
66. Two Cheese and One Pepperoni
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $4*
Poor little lonely pepperoni. The customer ordered “two cheese and one pepperoni” and that is exactly what was delivered. Though one wonders if this was perhaps a little tongue in cheek as who would actually be so literal?

Two Cheese and One Pepperoni @dailymail / Pinterest
In Italy, regional food is taken very seriously. The exact way that things are prepared differ from place to place and it can cause offense to suggest one region’s food is from another region. Pepperoni pizza originated in Southern Italy where spicy sausage was a popular topping. You can be sure you would not be served pizza looking like this in Southern Italy.
67. Make One With “Everything” On It
Ordered From:Unknown
Average Order Price: $10*
While a burger with everything on it is not an unusual request in some restaurants, this was definitely out of the ordinary. Specifically, the customer ordered a burger with everything: 3 Mayos, mustard, ketchup, A1, 4 hot sauces, 5 cheeses, all veggies and all toppings plus quest, chili and salsa verde.

Make One With “Everything” On It @laguiadelvaron / Pinterest
Perhaps it was someone who lost a bet, or maybe a game of truth or dare. One hopes that no one eats like this every day though (or ever). It seems redundant to list the reasons that this is not a healthy way to eat so we can just leave it at that
68. Extra Sauce
Ordered From: Taco Bell
Average Order Price: Free*
The customer had asked for a lot of extra sauce and received exactly that. Though it seems like an awful lot of plastic waste. Not to mention the owners of the branch probably discouraging this amount of extra sauce for several waste related and economical reasons.

Extra Sauce @boredpanda / Pinterest
Taco Bell transitioned from plastic bags to paper bags back in 2015, though takeaway wrappers are currently not recyclable. Taco Bell has said that by 2025 they will make all packaging recyclable which is very encouraging. One hopes they are not the only ones moving towards a more sustainable future.
69. Big Mac With Extra Sauce
Ordered From: McDonalds
Average Order Price: $2*
It seems the client expected the extra sauce to arrive on the burger itself. Though if it were to arrive separately, which is really ok by most standards, one would expect it in a little takeaway sauce pots. Little plastic containers that are made specifically for take away sauce. Why serve sauce in a burger box?

Big Mac With Extra Sauce @TedNivision / Pinterest
The other question is whether they charge for the extra sauce or not. It seems that since most stores are franchises, there are different rules store by store. Some will allow one free extra sauce while others charge. Hopefully this box of sauce was at least free.
70. Burger Cut In Half
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $7*
While this is technically a misunderstanding, and also literally correct (though confusing) it also may have saved this customer some potential stomach issues. While it is safe to eat rare steak, minced meat should definitely be more cooked than this.

Burger Cut In Half @boredpanda / Pinterest
The issue is the source of the meat itself, so if a restaurant carries high quality meat and mince it themselves then you should be ok. But at a take out place it is not advisable to eat such rare minced meat. Sometimes accidents happen to prevent further accidents and this might be one of those times.
71. Extra Egg
Ordered From: Tokyo, Japan
Average Order Price: $11*
Nearly every region in Japan has its own interpretation of Ramen, which directly translated means ‘pulled noodles’. The broth and noodles are the common factors, though they type of broth and the type of noodles are different region by region. The most famous broth being pork broth, though it can be chicken broth too.

Extra Egg @dailymail / Pinterest
Toppings include pork, green onions, beans, bamboo shoots and of course egg. In this instance a customer asked for extra egg, and certainly got eggsactly (too much?) what they asked for. Surely this is simply an example of being lost in the translation.
72. A Taco
Ordered From: Somewhere in France
Average Order Price: $4*
French food is globally famous. Cuisine that has inspired bakeries and chefs across the planet. People travel across the seas and continents to experience the joys that French restaurants have to offer. The smell of baked goods along the cobblestoned streets, fresh fish, muscles and cheese, just to name a few of the delicacies.

A Taco @imgur / Pinterest
One thing the French are not necessarily renowned for are tacos. If you are a Texan living in France, perhaps tacos are not something you should order seeing as though Texas is in fact renowned for its Tex Mex and perhaps it should be expected that you will be disappointed. Case in point.
73. Chicken-Head McNuggets
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: Unknown
This “Thanks, I hate it” photo comes from a taste-test of chicken head nuggets. Americans are used to eating chicken nuggets in roundish squares or chicken tenders in strips. But a fried chicken head is going a little too far for Western taste-testers, though snacking on chicken head nuggets is actually a common practice elsewhere. It’s unclear if this photo came from a McDonald’s order gone wrong or if the order was intentional.

Chicken-Head McNuggets @3ricericproductionz / @THISISZION42303 / Youtube.com
Asian and African countries actually do eat chicken heads as a treat. One blogger on Wandering Educators did a taste and found that it actually wasn’t too bad. She advised that you crack the head and eat the brains” for the “unique, buttery flavor.”
74. Would You Like A Band-Aid With That?
Ordered From: McDonald’s
Average Order Price: $2.79*
This has to be one of the grossest photos on this list—and there have been some doozies. Some kid ordered a McDonald’s cheeseburger. He took off the top bun and found a band aid (hopefully not used) on top of the patty.

Would You Like A Band-Aid With That? @WENDY’S / Facebook.com
Real or fake, it’s still gross. The news of the find was released on the finder’s YouTube channel, and he said he would “go back” and “complain” for “50,000 likes.” Though that does seem fishy, a Google search shows that there have actually been quite a few band aid finds in peoples’ McDonald’s orders, so who knows?
75. Deep-Fried Mouse
Ordered From: KFC
Average Order Price: $3.79 per 5-piece wings*
While it’s $3.79 for 5-piece wings at KFC, we don’t know what the price of a fried mouse would be. One horrified KFC diner ordered wings and discovered that one “wing” was actually a poor mouse, caught and deep-fried. Or was it?

Deep Fried Mouse @Tyrell1768s / Pinterest
The story broke on local news stations in California. The twenty-five-year old diner claimed he’d been “feeling weird” since taking a bite out of the “fried mouse.” But, when KFC did tests on the meat, it found that it was made of 100% white-meat chicken. The fast-food chain tried to contact the customer, who refused to answer. KFC claimed that the customer intended to “deceive” everyone “with a hoax.”
