91. Maternity Gown
Price: $40-$60*
Made by: ASOS (originally)
Purchased at: Lukalula
One expectant mom was very displeased by her experience with Lukalula, which is a scam website. The mom-to-be paid for two different dresses from Lukalula, and she only received one (which took a month to be delivered). Instead of receiving the sleek, stylish dress she ordered, the mom received an ugly dress.

Maternity Gown @Ravda Dickard / Facebook.com
Terming the ugly dress an “atrocity,” it turned out that the picture wasn’t even real. Facebook user Lauren McBride bought the dress from ASOS, and Lukalula stole her maternity pictures. She said she is “fighting” to get her pictures removed from the scam site, but they won’t respond to her.
92. Night King Mask
Price: Unknown
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: eBay
The Night King was one of the most terrifying characters from the Game of Thrones franchise. Like the clown from It, many people wanted to be the Night King for Halloween. One Redditor bought a Night King mask that looked pretty authentic. What he got instead was a papery mask that looked like a melting mint ice cream cone.

Night King Mask @Malibutwo / Reddit.com
It’s unclear who made the original (or fake) mask or how much it originally was, but what is clear is that this mask looks nothing like the HBO villain. Fun fact: Game of Thrones’ final seasoncost $15 million per episode to make, in part because of the special effects.
93. Bluetooth Earbuds
Price: $159* (Original)
Made by: Apple (Original)
Purchased at: Wish.com
Usually, when there is an issue with dimensions, the problem arises from the product being way too small. However, one Wish.com buyer made the unfortunate mistake of buying Airpods from the notoriously bad vendor. Airpods usually cost $159, but on Wish they were far cheaper (first warning sign).

Bluetooth Earbuds @Roast_Dinner30 / Reddit.com
Instead of getting the sleek, tiny white Apple wireless earphones, the user got foot-long, fake Airpod replicas that would only fit a giant. The moral of the story, according to the frustrated purchaser, was to never buy anything from Wish. Judging from the other items on this list, they’re probably right.
94. Missing Nuts
Price: $19.99*
Made by: Proudly Pure
Purchased at: Amazon
The 2.5/5-star review should have been a clue for one Amazon buyer, who tried to buy a Holiday Nut Gift Basket, made by Proudly Pure. The gift basket sold for $19.99. The package that came appeared to have been half-eaten. Instead of getting a full tray, about 2/3 of the nuts were missing.

Missing Nuts @immensecrab / Reddit.com
Very, very few of the Proudly Pure products have reached the 4-star threshold, and the majority of them have pretty bad reviews on Amazon. While it doesn’t seem like the company, which specializes in vegan, organic, keto snacks and treats, is a scam, this product certainly was.
95. Cactus Cat Scratcher
Price: $18.99* (Original)
Made by: Chewy (Original)
Purchased at: Unknown
One husband took to the Internet to share his shopping issue. He said that his wife, while “wine drunk,” loves to order stuff online. One thing she ordered was a cactus cat scratcher. What came instead were two bags of rope—white and, presumably, cactus-green. There were no instructions with the ropes.

Cactus Cat Scratcher @SimpleFloyd / Reddit.com
There was no packing slip or wood either. It was just unmarked bags of rope, adding to the mystery of the whole ordeal. The package also took two months to arrive at their house. Questions to the original Reddit poster about whether they even have a cat to begin with went unanswered. The cactus scratcher looks a lot like a similar product from Chewy, though the Redditor’s wife didn’t buy it from them.
96. A Dress Fit For a Dog
Price: $14.90*
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: AliExpress (Maybe)
Posted in a “KnockoffNightmares” Reddit thread, one Redditor and annoyed online shopper purchased a white dress, size XL, for herself. The dress that came ended up being so small that it could only fit her dog, who looks like he/she does not like wearing dresses.

A Dress Fit For a Dog @KnockoffNightmares / Facebook.com
The dress can be traced back to AliExpress, which also sells the same version in black. That is where the picture is from and, judging from all the other times on this list that AliExpress has failed online shoppers, that might be where she got it from. The dress is also available on ShoppersHOOK, but not Amazon.
97. Wooden Bench
Price: $8-10*
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: Amazon
Twitter user @Rollitupk must not have checked the dimensions on this wooden bench before she ordered, as it looks more fit for a dollhouse than an actual human being. The Twitter user bought the bench on Amazon, and it ended up being only a few inches long, something they showed us in a mock seating demonstration.

Wooden Bench @Rollitupk / Twitter.com
The Amazon wooden bench is intricate enough for a doll’s house, and it wouldn’t be the first time that someone got accidentally scammed by thinking they found a cheap piece of life-sized furniture. On Amazon, they sell dollhouse benches for $8-$10, a too-good-to-be-true price in real life.
98. Rustic Recycled Pallet Bed
Price: Unknown
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: Unknown
Another funny shopping fail from Twitter is that of the Rustic Pallet Bed. Twitter user @RebeccaKwanga’s sister bought a pallet bed, made of recycled wood and fabric, for her room. What she was supposed to get was a pallet bed that looked fairy-like and natural.

Rustic Recycled Pallet Bed @Peyton Robinson / foter.com
What she got instead looked like a creepy broken-down jungle gym attraction in the middle of the woods. While the general aspects (a base, four “posts”) are there, it looks completely unfinished. The Twitter user’s sister got the idea from 1001Pallets.com, a website dedicated to promoting different ways to use recycled pallets, but it’s unclear where she ordered it from.
99. Honeycomb Mirror
Price: $7.76-$15.41*
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: AliExpress
Redditor @Jinnium submitted his shopping fail with the mere caption, “Bruhhh…” That says it all. Honeycomb mirrors are supposed to be stylish ways to accentuate your home, but the honeycomb mirror that this shopper got turned him into something out of a funhouse. The funhouse mirror was supposed to be a DIY sticker-mirror that would adhere to the wall.

Honeycomb Mirror @Jinium / Reddit.com
The dimensions of this AliExpress special appear way off. It’s unknown who exactly made the original product, but the better idea would be to go to Walmart or Bed Bath & Beyond and buy the actual pieces in person, just to be safe.
100. Winter Hat
Price: $39* (Original)
Made by: The Urban Society (Original)
Purchased at: Wish.com
The winter hat that this Wish shopper received looked more like the mask from Trick ‘r Treat than an actual hat. Reddit @DanielJayPizzle (who made the picture of him wearing the ski-mask-like hat his profit picture) submitted the post to Reddt a year ago.

Winter Hat @DanielJayPizzle / Reddit.com
The winter hat in question is actually a product from The Urban Society, but that is not who made this hat. Urban Society hats usually cost $39.00, but the deeply discounted price on Wish wasn’t an amazing deal. It’s likely the Wish scammer stole the picture from the legitimate website and used it for his own. It’s a common eBay scam, too.
101. Vinyl Record
Price: $3.23*
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: eBay
One person’s partner was very pleased when she thought she had managed to locate a cheap $3.23 vinyl of the When Harry Met Sally… soundtrack on eBay. The vinyl album usually sells for $24 when used and $28 when new, according to Amazon’s prices. So, $3.23 seemed too good to be true.

Vinyl Record @larrydavid1987 / Reddit.com
…And it was. What the eBay buyer actually got a was a small vinyl record that was actually made for a doll’s house. Though it’s unclear who made it, they do get credit for the incredibly-detailed vinyl alum, right down to the plastic packaging and tiny cover figures of Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal.
102. Vaseline
Price: $3.98*
Made by: Unilever USA
Purchased at: Walmart
Vaseline is one of those products that simply has unlimited uses. Originally conceived as a do-it-all vaseline jelly, consumers found endless ways to use Vaseline to improve their lives – and their chapped lips.

Vaseline @gunjan4sharma / Twitter.com
One unlucky customer, however, ended up buying a vat of Vaseline that had long expired. To their shock, instead of finding a plethora of super-smooth jelly, they discovered a weird-smelling tub of icky goop that definitely should not be applied to anyone’s skin. Let’s hope they got a refund.
103. Painted Toenail Socks
Price: $5*
Made by: Belle Maison
Purchased at: Belle Maison
You’ve got to hand it to Japanese company Belle Maison – they really have come up with a one-of-a-kind product. These sheer socks are designed to not only cover your feet, but each individual toe, like a glove. Not only that, each has a painted nail to give the wearer an instant pedicure.

Toenail polish socks @toeby/Pinterest
As you may have guessed, it’s not exactly a one-size-fits-all scenario, and some customers might find that their feet look like they’ve been put through a mangle rather than lovingly painted. There’s probably a reason why this innovation hasn’t quite reached the runway yet.
104. Skull Ring
Price: $5-$10*
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: Facebook
On the left, we have a skull ring with stunning details. It looks so realistic, almost as though it is made out of bone. The stones are gorgeous, and you can tell that whoever made this ring took a lot of time with it.

Skull Ring @aInventions/Pinterest
Whoever made the ring on the left likely did not make the one on the right, as that one looks as though it cost a dollar at a Halloween store. Ordered online from a targeted Facebook ad, the buyer described this ring, aptly, as a “disappointment.”
105. Cutout Prom Dress
Price: $100*
Made by: Unknown
Purchased at: Online Store
Prom comes around every year, and we get to see some of the fanciest dresses and flashiest entrances. Kids have a great time at prom, but here is a word to the wise: don’t buy your prom gown online.

Cutout Prom Dress @boredpanda/Pinterest
Otherwise, you’ll get stuck with, well, this atrocity. One girl bought her prom gown online and, rather than get a voluminous dress with lace detailing, she got a sloppy dress that looked like a kid’s art project (also, the cutouts are way too inappropriate for high school prom).
