Even though it could be tempting to continue celebrating Christmas long after New Year’s has passed, you might be endangering your family without even realizing it. Because they are no longer receiving a consistent source of water and have had their roots chopped off, the trees themselves have a tendency to dry out. All it takes for the branches and pine needles to catch fire is a tiny spark when they have completely dried up, which may happen in as little as six weeks.
