In offices and classrooms, whiteboard markers are frequently seen, and they offer a simple, practical writing surface. One of the most well-known marker brands, EXPO, claims that the date of expiration is dependent upon how frequently the markers are used. Markers often last two to three years if you store them properly and keep the caps on tight.

Depending on how little solvent has been lost, you might even be able to revive EXPO markers. When using markers, the most important thing to keep in mind is to properly seal them once you’re done; if not, they will quickly dry out.
