Expensive copper gutters have a fifty-year lifespan. Galvanized steel gutters range in price from $900 to $1,350 per home, while aluminum gutters cost about $3,000. At $4,000 per home, copper gutters are by far the most costly alternative.

When there are several holes, splits, or rust spots in your gutters, it’s time to replace them. It is also necessary to install new gutters if the existing ones are deteriorating or the fasteners are broken. If you’re unsure, get a contractor to visit and inspect.
