Photographer Attila Csipe captured this breathtaking image of a vast delta and riverbed. The glacial river system in question carries sediments from Iceland’s Vatnajokull glacier. The biggest and most abundant ice cap in the country, and the second largest in Europe after Novaya Zemlya, is mighty Vatnajokull.

Given that Vatnajokull makes up 8% of Iceland, enormous glacial rivers must be transporting sediments from there. The DJI Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo, which Extreme Fliers dubbed “one of the best…for cold weather,” may have been used to take this picture. In order to capture such beautiful photos, a drone must be able to withstand Iceland’s bitter cold.
