The fourth-highest summit in the Rocky Mountains is Blanca Peak. It towers over the desert in front of it at a staggering 14,351 feet in height. The highest point in both the Sierra Blanca Massif and the Sangre de Cristo Range is Blanca Peak. This image, which was posted to Imgur in April 2016 by user @someguy235, shows something unusual: snow in the desert.

The Colorado desert does occasionally experience frigid temperatures that might result in the tan sand becoming covered in white flakes. The Sony RX0 is one of the greatest cameras for cold weather; BHPhotoVideo called it “blizzard-ready.”
