Tucked Tail

Even as they managed to carefully guide her out from between the cabins, the little dog’s fear was still painfully evident. Her tail remained tightly tucked beneath her, a clear sign of her overwhelming anxiety and distress. She couldn’t stop trembling, her small body quivering with every step, and soft cries continued to escape her as though she were pleading for safety. It was heartbreaking for Eldad and Loreta to see her in such a fragile state, but they knew this was the first step toward helping her heal.

Though she was no longer trapped physically, it was clear she was still trapped emotionally, unable to shake the terror that had consumed her for so long. Every movement she made was hesitant, driven by fear rather than trust. Eldad and Loreta stayed close, speaking to her in soothing tones and offering her the reassurance she so desperately needed. They understood that while they had freed her from her hiding spot, the journey to free her from her fear would take much longer.
