The rich owner of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is responsible for unearthing this hidden gem. After assisting in propelling the astronauts on Apollo 11 to the moon, the Apollo 11 rockets made their oceanic landing in the late 1960s and early 1970s. To retrieve these fragments of cosmic history, Bezos commanded a search and recovery team into the Atlantic’s depths.

Along with numerous other antiquities, the haul included gas generators, injectors, thrust chambers, heat exchangers, turbines, and fuel manifolds. To retrieve the relics, Bezos put together a team of sixty individuals and provided them with advanced equipment. The items are currently on exhibit at a museum.
