The Trift Bridge was dubbed one of the world’s “craziest” bridges by Thrillist. Indeed, thrill-seekers adore it. On Google, The Trift Bridge is rated 4.8 out of 5 stars. The bridge is 558 feet long and has 328 feet of clearance below it. This bridge in Gadmen, Switzerland, started construction in 2004. Only later that year did it open to pedestrian traffic.

Crossing Triftsee Lake is the bridge. Every year, 20,000 people visit it. You have to take a cable car to Meiringen and then a gondola to reach the bridge. The journey to the bridge, one of the longest and highest in the world, requires hiking 1.5 miles upwards after landing by gondola.
