Situated in Turtle Bay, Redding, California, the Sundial Bridge is a pedestrian and cyclist-friendly cantilever spar bridge supported by cables. It resembles a massive sundial in shape. For $23.5 million in 2004, Santiago Calatrava designed the Sundial Bridge. With a clearance of only 26 feet, it spans 700 feet.

The Sacramento River is crossed by the Sundial Bridge. The McConnell Arboretum & Gardens and the southern and northern portions of Turtle Bay Exploration Park, which house museums, are both accessible from the Bridge. Another entrance to the 35-mile Sacramento River Trail is the Sundial Bridge.
