Personal emergencies or health concerns are exceptions.
Members of the royal family have a high sense of obligation. Above all, they are representations of the country’s history, continuity, and unity. National events, therefore, should always come first, whether they are state ceremonies or open celebrations. It’s important to show devotion and respect to their position and the country they serve, in addition to adhering to tradition.

The monarchy and its subjects can strengthen their relationship with one another with every public appearance. Private events and intimate interactions are important for everyone, but for a royal, they frequently come last. They do, however, make allowances when faced with personal problems or health issues, acknowledging their humanity while doing their royal duties.
