Northrop Grumman developed the MQ-4C Triton, an advanced high-altitude, long-endurance (HALE) unmanned aerial system (UAS) for the United States Navy. The Triton has transformed maritime surveillance and reconnaissance operations since its launch in 2018. The drone can travel over wide stretches of ocean for more than a day at altitudes of up to 55,000 feet because to its larger wingspan than a Boeing 737.
